There are a few expectations I have for someone who acquires a cat from me.
1. No declawing. This changes the way they walk and can cause behavioral issues ranging from increased aggression to refusal to use the litter box. Declawing the kitten you receive from me immediately voids any contract.
2. Indoor-only. You're spending a lot of money on a rare breed of cat, so wouldn't you want to ensure they're kept safe? A cat can encounter a lot of dangers outside, from becoming prey to an eagle or coyote to being hit on the road or attacked by another cat. In the house is safest, but they can be outside on a harness/leash or in a catio.
3. Kittens must be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age. Registration papers are withheld until proof of this is shown. Alternatively, the kitten can be spayed/neutered before leaving my house for an additional cost. I encourage you to check the price near you for altering a cat as it may cost less than it does by me.
